Background

When I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in December 2003, I was living a life that was clearly out of balance.  Furthermore, my actions were out of alignment with my priorities and personal values.  My diagnosis, while I wish it on no one, was the wake up call that I needed to create balance in my life. 

Since that date, my life has been focused on the conscious creation of a balanced, fulfilling and sustainable lifestyle.  Furthermore, I’ve committed myself to supporting others as a life and wellness coach, in their pursuits of the balanced life.  When I started writing the personal development articles found throughout this site, I decided to share tips, suggestions and ‘coaching’ on topics related to creating more balance in life.  Each article averages 2-4 ‘book pages’, which provides substantially more detail than most blogs would provide on similar topics.   Regardless, it’s difficult to cover a large topic like ‘how to consciously shift from stress to success’, without writing a ridiculously long entry or a series of blog articles packaged in a less than convenient reading format.  This e-book is the response to providing timely content in an appropriate distribution format for all of my readers to enjoy.

This book follows the format for what a coach might work through with a client focused on creating less stress and more life balance.  Often clients need to hear themselves verbalize their situation, they need to listen to their inner wisdom, to have an ‘aha’ moment, and they need to come to terms with this themselves.  The coach provides a safe place for a client to verbalize their desires, they ask questions to bring out what is truly important, and they build a compelling vision for what is to come.  Lastly, a coach provides accountability in moving forward.  This e-Book provides every step mentioned with the exception of the accountability.  Should you embrace the vision you create by reading this book, you’ll be well on your way to defining your own accountability structure to successfully bring about a more balanced lifestyle.
