that time of the year again and I want to wish you an amazing holiday
season! Thank you for being a frequent visitor of my site, for
all your support in building a substantial traffic base in 2008, and
for having shared this resource with your friends and family.
Happy Holidays & Be Well! Its very exciting for me to introduce a new brand and new look to 'The Personal Growth Network'.
Just last week I introduced the new website with a sleeker
interface, better navigation, and more features. If you haven't
visited http://i-grow.net within the past week - make sure to check it out! I
want to thank everyone for your outpouring of wonderful emails and
blessings after sharing that we had a new son born in November.
He's been an amazing addition to the family and while my focus
has shifted towards the newborn as of late, I am slowly getting back
into a more steady routine of providing content again for my website.
Thanks for your support and patience during this wonderful time.

TODAY'S ARTICLE: Living in Balance: The Six Components of Whole Person Wellness As
the year comes to a close, many of us use this time as an opportunity
to assess what has happened in the previous year, and to develop a
vision and set of goals for the next. As you've probably heard,
the #1 new years resolution is - you guessed it, is to become
healthier. Many of us want to lose weight, start exercising more,
begin eating better, perhaps some people want to go one step further by
beginning some mind/body practice like yoga. As
good of an intention as these all are, we're far too often limited in
our view of what 'Whole Person Wellness' is. Anyone considering a new
years resolution to become more 'well' should first be clear for
themselves what wellness means. While we all know about physical,
emotional and psychological health, what else should you consider as
you draft your resolution for the upcoming year? The
six components of Whole Person Wellness are Health, Career,
Relationships, Personal Growth & Development, Finance, and
Enjoyment. If you'd rate any of these as less than satisfactory,
it may be that your physical health would be better served by restoring
your well being in one of these ancillary areas first. You may be
feeling that this will even be harder than going to the gym 3x/week.
Good - now you are getting to the root of the challenge you've
been faced with and you're beginning to see what truly needs to be
addressed to have success in attaining perhaps even your physical
health goals. To learn more about the six components of whole person health read my full article here.
In this full article, I provide a series of coaching questions to
support you in seeing clearly for yourself how you can use this list,
it supports you in identifying where you can have the most significant
impact as you craft your new years resolutions. As always, please
support this site by commenting on the blog post with your observations
and questions you may have. Be Well Written by Doug
